WASH Tech Day 2017

The German WASH Network is inviting to the 2. Humanitarian WASH Tech Day on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at the premises of the Training Institute of the Federal Agency for Technical Relief (THW) in Neuhausen (near Stuttgart), Germany. The event will be conducted in close collaboration with the Department for Humanitarian Assistance of the German Federal Foreign Office and THW.

After the successful establishment of the tech day format last year with a first event focussing on water supply in emergencies, the upcoming 2. Humanitarian WASH Tech Day this time will have a specific focus on “Sanitation and Faecal Sludge Management in Emergencies”.

The WASH Tech Day aims at bringing together a variety of suppliers of emergency WASH equipment/technologies in order to present and showcase current technology developments for emergency settings and to provide an exchange platform to further discuss the specific needs of WASH relief organisations and relief equipment suppliers respectively.

Time: Saturday, June 24, 2017 (11:00 – 17:00)

Venue: THW Federal Training Institute in Neuhausen  I  Novizenweg 1, 73765 Neuhausen a.d.F. (near Stuttgart airport)

The event will be held in English and the venue has sufficient space available to allow showcasing different technology solutions in a dedicated outside area. To register for the event please use the online registration form as the number of places is limited. Deadline is June 16, 2017.

Should you have any questions, suggestions regarding technology suppliers that should be invited or in case you are an interested technology provider yourself, you can contact us anytime.
