Getting Ready for Menstrual Hygiene Day 2024!
Menstrual Hygiene Day (MH Day), taking place on 28 May each year, is the global campaign to end period poverty and stigma. This year marks the 10th anniversary of MH Day – an opportunity to make it more impactful than ever!
In this WASH Session, Ina Jurga, the International Coordinator of MH Day, will provide a brief summary of how MH Day and the menstrual health & hygiene movement has evolved over the last ten years. She will present this year’s theme and campaign materials and how you can join this year’s campaign.
Furthermore, actors working in humanitarian settings will share inspirational examples of how they used MH Day to increase awareness and relevance of MHH in humanitarian and emergency work.
