Faecal Sludge Management – The Humanitarian Sanitation Hub (SANIHUB)
What are challenges to provide safe sanitation solutions in a dynamic and complex humanitarian context? How can effective, quality-assured emergency sanitation along the entire service chain be ensured?
Developing safe sanitation solutions requires knowledge and experience. Suitable information is often difficult to find and need to be compiled from different sources in a time-consuming manner. To facilitate the development of good quality and efficient sanitation solutions, the Humanitarian Sanitation Hub (SANIHUB) has been developed. It provides easy access to well-structured, contextualized and practical information and resources. The Hub offers globally available sanitation information on a single platform and where required direct personal support to sanitation professionals in the field.
During the learning event, the SANIHUB will be presented as well as first practical experiences of users. In addition, various existing and planned functionalities of the platform will be show and discuss together.
