SODI (Solidarity Service International e.V.) was founded in Berlin in 1990 as a Non-Profit-Organization. SODI is implementing development projects for poverty reduction mainly in Southeast Asia, southern Africa and Latin America. The main projects focus on Humanitarian Mine Action Programmes with integrated development projects, food security and rural development, vocational training, basic education as well as the improvement of water, sanitation and hygiene. SODI links the international work with campaigns and education on development issues in Germany.
