BORDA
BORDA was founded in 1977 as non-profit Bremen Overseas Research and Development Association with the mission to provide expertise in non- profit development projects fighting poverty and strengthening social structures involving renewable energy utilization in partner countries in Africa and Asia. BORDA evolved as specialist organization securing peoples access to vital resources while protecting the environment applying a demand oriented approach from a local perspective. Together with a network of 30 partner organizations integrated projects are facilitated with a focus on water supply, wastewater treatment, community based sanitation and solid waste management.
