WASH Nutrition Training
The German WASH Network warmly invites to participate in a 2-day training on WASH-Nutrition hosted by the Welthungerhilfe at its head office in Bonn, Germany. The training is part of a project funded by the German Federal Foreign Office and addresses practitioners from both thematic areas (and other related sectors) primarily working in humanitarian contexts. We are very happy to conduct the training at in partnership with Action contre la Faim (ACF).

In 2017, ACF published the WASH’Nutrition Practical Guidebook, which has become one of the most valuable publications on the topic. Based on that, ACF together with other partners (incl. Welthungerhilfe, WaterAid, IFRC, French Red Cross, Danish Red Cross, Terres des Hommes, Concern Worldwide, UNICEF) is developing e-learning modules. Those modules will also provide the thematic outline for the 2-day face-to-face training:
- The Basics of Undernutrition and WASH
- Linking Nutritional Outcomes with the WASH Environment
- WASH’Nutrition Strategy and Programming
- Integrating Activities at Different Levels and Contexts
- Monitoring and Evaluation of Integrated Interventions
- Advocacy for Sustained Policy Change
