WASH in Emergencies 2017

Practical Oriented Intensive Courses on WASH in Emergencies

The intensive courses “WASH in Emergencies” are part of a strategic portfolio of activities, developed in cooperation with the German WASH Network and the support of the Federal Foreign Office, to meet the increasing needs for qualified humanitarian WASH personnel.

The practical trainings offer a comprehensive overview of technical and non-technical options, approaches and challenges in the humanitarian WASH sector. Numerous project examples, case studies, hands-on exercises and simulations facilitate a sustainable and practical-oriented learning result. The course consists of two 5-day training modules with focus on “Drinking Water Supply in Emergencies”  and “Sanitation, FSM and Hygiene Promotion in Emergencies”.
